ABOUT

3D Siteworks was founded in 2019 by surveyor Bruce Hopkins, bringing extensive construction experience from projects across Australia and abroad. With deep industry knowledge and a strong technical foundation, 3D Siteworks is well positioned to deliver accurate, dependable results for projects of any scale.

We specialise in the digital data lifecycle of civil construction — supporting clients from tender and design validation through to construction delivery and final project close‑out. With more than a decade of experience on Main Roads WA projects, we have an intimate understanding of the processes, standards, and technical requirements that underpin major infrastructure works.

3D Siteworks is also commercially licensed to conduct UAV surveys, completing aerial mapping and data‑capture projects throughout Western Australia. Our UAV capability supports a wide range of applications, including preliminary ground surveys, scheduled progress capture, road and rail construction, and mining and quarry material movement analysis.

Bruce Hopkins (Director)
Engineering Surveyor / Chief Pilot

Bruce brings more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with a career spanning four countries across three continents, including the past 18 years in Western Australia. His project portfolio covers a wide range of sectors, including road and rail infrastructure, utilities, major earthworks, and multi‑storey structural developments.

Internationally, Bruce contributed to two landmark projects: the Wembley Stadium redevelopment in the United Kingdom (2001–2003) and the Moses Mabhida Stadium in South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Throughout his career, Bruce has progressed from Project Surveyor to Lead Surveyor, and later Survey Manager on the Gateway WA project (2012–2017) — one of Western Australia’s largest infrastructure programs. He continued in senior roles with the Metropolitan Road Improvement Alliance before establishing 3D Siteworks.
